ANC's 'Bangsamoro and Beyond' forum to air this Thursday

ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel, will revisit the discussion on the decades-long conflict in Mindanao that has affected the entire country in the “Bangsamoro and Beyond: A National Conversation” forum this Thursday (October 19) at 8 pm.

The discussion will center on the many challenges of the Peace Process, and tackle the Bangsamoro Basic Law, the situation in Marawi, and the government’s plan to shift to federalism.

ANC, continues to embrace the responsibility of providing Filipinos accurate news reporting and enlightening discussions on topics that matter. ANC chief operating officer Cilette Liboro-Co said that it is through organizing these events that they get to not just inform but also empower Filipinos.

ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel, will revisit the discussion on the decades-long conflict in Mindanao that has affected the entire country in the “Bangsamoro and Beyond: A National Conversation” forum this Thursday (October 19) at 8 pm.

The forum, held in partnership with the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (CPCS), will feature panelists including Usec. Nabil Tan, deputy presidential  adviser on the Peace Process, Mohagher Iqbal, chairperson of the MILF Implementing Panel, Usec. Emmanuel Bautista, executive director of Cabinet Cluster on Security, Justice and Peace, Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman from the ANAK Mindanao (AMIN) Party List, Rep. Bai Sandra Sema, deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Commissioner Jose Lorena of the Bangsamoro Transition Commission, Commissioner Raissa Jajurie, Bangsamoro Transition Commission, Atty Laisa Alamia, executive secretary of Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, Baicon Macaraya, national program officer of World Food Programme,  Atty. Cecilia Jimenez, former GPH - designate to the Transitional Justice and Reconciliation Commission, and Arch. Antonio Javellana Ledesma, archbishop of Cagayan De Oro.

The discussion will center on the many challenges of the Peace Process, and tackle the Bangsamoro Basic Law, the situation in Marawi, and the government’s plan to shift to federalism.
