Presidential son and Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte made a rather sexist comment about ABS-CBN News anchor Karen Davila.

In a press conference right after the State of the City Address (SOCA) of his sister, Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, on Tuesday, the younger Duterte said in local dialect: "I urge Ms. Karen Davila na ipakita ko 'yung aking tattoo pero kami lang dalawa sa kwarto sa hotel.”

Davila posed a challenge two weeks ago to the younger Duterte to appear in the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee's hearing on the P6.4 billion shabu shipment from China.

"Ang point ko eto lang: Bakit kung ordinaryong indibidwal kailangang sumipot sa Senado? Bakit po kayo hindi pwede? I'm sorry, vice mayor kayo. You're an elected official. What spares you and not everybody else?" Davila said on her DZMM show.

Duterte also lashed out at the media, which he labeled as "bayaran," saying that even if he was "crucified" in their coverage, he opted not to file any libel case.

"ABS-CBN, nagkaso ba ako sa inyo? GMA, nagkaso ba ako sa inyo? You already crucified me. And by the way, mind you, I was not subpoenaed by the Senate. I was requested to appear. Come on, don't give me that bullshit. I have high respects with you, media," he said.
