The fatal shooting incident at Resorts World Manila have left dozens of people dead.

As confirmed by National Capital Police Regional Office Chief Director Oscar Albayalde in a news briefing Friday afternoon, a total of 37 people died in the incident, including the gunman who reportedly killed himself.

As early as Friday morning, the local television networks have began their expansive reporting, with coverage continuing throughout the day.

The local news channels, in particular the ABS-CBN News Channel and CNN Philippines, have also been simulcasting their broadcasts on their respective social media portals.

A yet to be identified gunman fired gunshots and set gaming tables on fire in the gaming area of Resorts World Manila on Friday. The Philippine National Police earlier downplayed reports that the international terror group ISIS was responsible for the attack and said that they are looking at robbery as the most likely motive.
