International news anchor Annalisa Burgos has officially joined the ABS-CBN News Channel family.
Burgos, the former Channel NewsAsia anchor, will be one of the anchors of ANC's new morning show Early Edition, which is set to take over the timeslot of the long-running Mornings@ANC by the end of this month.
"Honored to be part of the anchor team on ABS-CBN News Channel's new morning show Early Edition," she wrote in a post on her Facebook page along with a series of photos from the show's promo shoot. "Look out for it weekdays 5:30-8AM starting Feb 27 on ANC!"
Joining Burgos on the morning broadcast are TJ Manotoc, Michelle Ong, and Mornings@ANC holdovers Paolo Abrera and Christian Esguerra.
Burgos most recently served as the co-anchor of CNA's morning show First Look Asia, alongside fellow Filipino journalist Timothy Go. She was also once an anchor and producer for Bloomberg TV covering business news.
Previously, she was a news editor and anchor for CNBC.com, and a reporter for Forbes.com, as well as The Orange Country Register where she began her career in broadcasting.
