An ABS-CBN News insider has reached out to us directly on Twitter and confirmed that Webb has indeed exited the network. "I can confirm that Pinky is no longer part of the ABS-CBN News team," says this insider. "She has decided to move on and I am sure there's no bad blood between her and the management with her joining another network. She will be missed here."

Latest: Pinky officially joins CNN Philippines

Longtime ABS-CBN News anchor Pinky Webb is departing the network according to the popular blogsite Fashion Pulis.

Webb, who is best known for her stint on both Umagang Kay Ganda and Mornings@ANC, and most recently as anchor of TV Patrol Weekend, has reportedly resigned from the Kapamilya Network to join the newly launched CNN Philippines — which as we all know is being headed by Jing Magsaysay, her former boss at the ABS-CBN News Channel.

Aside from Webb, we heard from multiple sources that her former XXX co-host, Alex Santos, might also be joining the network after meeting up with CNN Philippines bosses last week.

We have reached out to Ms. Webb and CNN Philippines management for an official statement and we'll update this post once we hear back from them.
