Titled "Miserando Atque Eligendo," the song aims to "touch hearts and move our brothers and sisters to reflect on his call to be merciful and compassionate."
"This was inspired by Matthew 25:35-40 where the King, after enumerating various acts of mercy, said... 'Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me,'" Bocobo wrote on her Facebook account. "It also relates to Pope Francis' motto: 'Miserando Atque Eligendo' (Lowly but chosen)."
According to her, the chorus of the song is in 4 languages: Filipino, English, Waray and Latin. "This will also be a sign of unity and hope amidst trials, especially for those who were greatly affected by recent tragedies such as Bagyong Yolanda."
