PRESS RELEASE FROM GMA-7:
The year 2014 has been quite a journey for the Filipino people.

With quite a number of both newsmakers and noisemakers, there have been many note-worthy and infamous moments that deserve to be looked back on.

This Saturday, Tom Rodriguez and Rhea Santos review some of the moments that made us cringe, cry and celebrate in #Throwback2014.

“It’s a recap of the whole year that happened – from showbiz, to sports, to crime, to calamities, to disasters. Ang lawak ng range ng topics so sana maki-throwback ang lahat sa ‘min,” Tom Rodriguez said.

Guillo Servando, Vhong Navarro, MH17, the pork barrel scam, DAP, Glenda, Mario and Ruby, showbiz proposals, Kobe Paras, Paolo Ballesteros, Rachelle Ann Go and many more – these are but a few that will be retackled in the year-ender special.

“It’s a gist of the positive and negative that happened this year— good news, bad news, meron ding storya ng inspirasyon. Ganun naman ang buhay eh,” Rhea explained.

More than recounting and reviewing what happened the past year, Rhea explained how it highlights the resiliency of the Filipino people.

“#Throwback2014 has a mix of good and bad and I think, that’s what makes the Filipino stronger,” she added.

Go down memory lane with Tom and Rhea this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. on GMA.
